Palovich

*George Palovich ’60 received the Best of Show award from the Arizona Artists Guild in their Winter Exhibition.

1970s

*Lorin Zaner ’75 was featured on an NPR podcast titled “Ohio Voices: Education and the Law” where he talked about his book The Making of Darth Zaner.

1980s

*Jeffrey Hojnicki ’85 received the 2026 Aerospace Power Systems Award from The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The award recognizes his significant contributions to the design of photovoltaic power systems for human spaceflight missions. Jeff is now retired after a long career at The NASA Glenn Research Center.

1990s

Jennifer Gold M.D., FAAP ’95 has joined The Ohio State University College of Medicine as vice dean for Education, bringing a wealth of experience in academic medicine and a passion for shaping the next generation of health professionals.

Shindell

**J. Robert Shindell ’95 has been named the 2026 recipient of the Southern New Hampshire University Excellence in Teaching Award.

2000s

Maunz

*Andrew Maunz ’08 was elevated to principal status at nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C.

Michael Parente ’07 was one of 26 lawyers elected to firm partnership at BakerHostetler in January.

*Marc Paulenich ’05 has been named Chief Executive Officer at Hart, effective January 2026. Paulenich succeeds Mike Hart, who will transition from CEO into the role of Executive Chairman.

2020s

*Samantha Torongeau ’23 has been promoted to Senior Associate Attorney at Kitch’s Mt. Clemens office. Torongeau focuses her practice on automobile insurance defense.
