Beverly Schall Markoff (Ed ’71) announced her retirement on July 31, 2025. An award-winning interior designer, Markoff founded Beverly Markoff Interiors, LLC in 2002, and the firm has been widely recognized for its work in Carmel, Zionsville, Westfield, and Indianapolis.
1980

Kevin J. Kenney (’80) has joined RCO Law as Of Counsel, practicing in probate and estate planning, business transactions, and real estate. He brings more than four decades of legal experience and will continue serving clients from his office in Sylvania. Read more.

Amy Kellogg (’83) received the Humanitarian Award in Memory of Christopher Spirnak from the Epilepsy Association at its 5th Annual Golf Outing. A partner at Baker Hostetler in Cleveland, Kellogg has been a longtime advocate for epilepsy awareness and support, serving on the Association’s Board of Directors, including as Board President, and leading Team Baker Hostetler as the top corporate fundraiser for the 2025 Winter Walk. Carolyn Breinich (’05) has published her latest children’s book, The Cuddle Crew, inspired by her experiences as a childhood cancer survivor. Illustrated by Hannah Weisbrod and published by Bell Asteri Publishing, the book is designed to bring comfort to children facing cancer and their families.
Lauren Diekman (’05) was promoted to policy director at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck. A member of the firm’s Federal Government Relations Department, Diekman provides strategic international policy counsel across the infrastructure, energy, technology, telecommunications, and mining sectors
Alex J. Adams (’06) has been appointed Assistant Secretary for Family Support at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, serving within the Administration for Children and Families.

Nabeel Herial (’13) has joined Albany Medical Center, a member of the Albany Med Health System, as director of its Comprehensive Stroke Center, vice chair of the Department of Neurology for inpatient services, and chief of the Division of Vascular Neurology. He also serves as associate professor of neurology and neurosurgery at Albany Medical College.
