UToledo Foundation’s Spooktacular Giving Challenge Open Through Oct. 31

By Anastasia Ortiz

The Spooktacular Giving Challenge is on through Oct. 31.

It is officially spooky season and this year; The University of Toledo Foundation is turning that spirit into a opportunity Rockets everywhere to make a difference.

Through the Spooktacular Giving Challenge alumni and supporters can help make college feel less scary for UToledo students by supporting essential resources like scholarships, food pantries and emergency aid. As a thank you, donors who give at least $10 will receive a digital Rocket pumpkin carving stencil pack!

“It is a fun, seasonal way to remind our Rocket community how much even a small gift can do,” said Heather Slough, senior director of annual giving programs at The University of Toledo Foundation.

“Every dollar adds up to support students and help them stay focused on their education.”

Join Our Pumpkin Carving Contest!

Our Priority Funds – Vote for Your Favorite

While you can donate to any of the UToledo Foundation’s 2,000+ funds, we’re focused on:

  • Rocket Boost Scholarship – supports students with demonstrated financial need, as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid.
  • Rocket Fuel Student Food Pantries: providing food and essential items to students facing short-term need on Main Campus and the Health Science Campus.
  • Rocket-to-Rocket Emergency Fund: helping students cover unexpected expenses, from medical bills to car repairs.

Once 175 donors participate, an extra $500 will be unlocked for one of these priority funds and Rockets will vote on Facebook to decide the winner!

Every gift is a treat for our students! Thank you for your spooktacular support!
