List of 2025 Homecoming Activities for Rocket Alumni
The University of Toledo is gearing up to celebrate its longest-standing tradition. This year’s homecoming theme, “Rocky’s Rockin Rodeo,” brings together students, alumni, faculty, staff and the greater Toledo community for a number of exciting events!
Some activities are taking place over multiple days, including:
- The Rocket Marching Band alumni reunion. Click here for more details.
- Our Rocket Run Virtual 5K, which participants can complete any time between Sept. 21 – Sept. 28! Registration for the digital-only Gold Package will remain open until Sunday, Oct. 6. Click here to learn more.

Thursday
- The John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation’s annual Deans Luncheon at The Toledo Club
Friday
- The College of Law’s annual Homecoming Dean Breakfast at The Toledo Club
- The Golden Alumni Society’s induction of the class of 1975
- The Jesup Scott Honors College’s Homecoming Lunch at Stubborn Brother Pizza Bar
- An evening of elegance at the annual Homecoming Awards Gala
Saturday
- Watch the Edward C. and Helen G. Schmakel Homecoming parade through the Old Orchard neighborhood
New this year, Sweet Nate’s food truck will be stationed along West Bancroft Street in the fields across from University Hall, serving coffee, other non-alcoholic beverages and food beginning at 8:30 a.m. Community members are encouraged to stop by for a warm drink or snack before the parade excitement begins.
- Grab a quick bite at The University of Toledo Alumni Association pregame party at the William and Carol Koester Alumni Pavilion
- Join the Latino Alumni Affiliate at their annual Homecoming Tailgate in parking Area 10, north of the Glass Bowl.
- The Rockets football game against the Akron Zips at 3:30 p.m.
