Save the Date! Art on the Mall and Homecoming Weekend
Just when things seem to be winding down at The University of Toledo Alumni Association, we realize that some of our largest, most anticipated events are right around the corner.
30th Annual Art on the Mall
Sunday, July 30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Hosted in Centennial Mall on UToledo’s Main Campus, this free, one-of-a-kind public art show offers an eclectic mix of work from more than 100 artists each year including acrylic, glass, pen and ink, oil, mixed media, metals, photography, ceramics, textiles, watercolor, woodwork, jewelry and more.
Art on the Mall offers free admission and parking in select lots.
To celebrate the show’s 30th year, the Alumni Association has created a design competition for artists and community members to influence this year’s poster, t-shirt and other materials for Art on the Mall! Submissions are open to all. Digital and non-digital formats will be considered. Submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, April 30. Click here to learn more.
Homecoming Weekend
Friday, Sept. 29 – Sunday, Oct. 1
Our favorite time of the year! Thousands of alumni return to their alma mater during Homecoming to reconnect, support our athletic programs and see what is new on campus:
- The UToledo Alumni Association’s annual Homecoming Gala is on Friday, Sept. 29. This is our chance to thank and honor our alumni who make an impact every day in communities across the country and the world.
- The UToledo Homecoming parade, Alumni Association’s Pregame Party and Homecoming football game are all taking place on Saturday, Sept. 30.
- On Sunday, Oct. 1, alumni from the class of 1973 will be inducted into our Golden Alumni Society, celebrating their 50-year anniversary as Rocket alumni.
