Your Alma Mater / #2023RocketResolutions

By William L. Pierce ’99, ’09

Each new year brings with it a sense of optimism and reflection. Oftentimes, we reminisce on what brought us joy and learn from the challenges we faced. For many of us, this reflection leads to resolutions for the upcoming year that are aimed at becoming better people, leaders, family members, students, etc.  But when you really think about a resolution, it’s about making a conscious decision for impactful change that improves our lives and the lives of those around us. This is what I am asking you to join me in:

  • Becoming a member of the Alumni Association. Your membership not only benefits you in the form of connectivity to our University and to each other, and through national discounts that help you to save, but it also supports our current students in the form of scholarships.
  • Join our sesquicentennial (150 Years) campaign to raise at least $5 million to support need-based financial aid to current students. Whether you were a student who needed scholarships to complete your degree or knew of people who did, your support matters to our future alumni.

Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do in support of The University of Toledo Alumni Association. We not only exist for you but we exist because of you. Stay safe, stay well and have a great 2023! Go Rockets!
