2019 Fall Career Fair
The COVID-19 pandemic demanded businesses, recruiters and prospective employees alike to adapt to new, virtual practices. Today, the COVID- 19 infection rate has declined, many people have been vaccinated and we seem to be on our way to some degree of normalcy. So, where do we go from here?
Over the past month, The University of Toledo Business Career Programs office surveyed more than 150 employer partners. A vast majority responded that they are ready to return to campus to engage with our students face-to-face.
UToledo’s John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation plans to host its Fall 2021 Job Fair on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the John F. Savage Arena. This will be our first on-campus event since February 2020, and we are excited about this new beginning. Alumni are encouraged to bring an updated resume and network with employers across the country who are seeking to fill full-time positions. If you are thinking about a career change or looking for a post-graduation position, this event is for you!
The college’s Business Career Programs Office has not allowed COVID to isolate alumni from employers. Instead, we remain dedicated to helping alumni acquire full-time job offers while pivoting our approach to complement this digital era. The office provides resume critiques, interview coaching and assistance with job search strategies in person, via phone or by videoconference.
